The Chess Table Project

The Chess Table Project

On Queen Street, a diverse community of new Canadians, neighbours, and street-involved individuals gathers regularly to play chess and socialize. The tables have become a place of social support, entertainment, and community.

Together with the Lions Club, I am raising money to place at least one  additional table in the park. I hope you’ll consider joining me by making a $10,  $15, or $25 contribution.

Contributions can be made by clicking the Donate button  below. Donations over ten dollars will receive a charitable tax  receipt from the Lions Club of Toronto.

This is one way we can make our city more liveable for many years to  come.
